I think if you wanna tie your broader thoughts to these specific victims and this specific case, that's totally fine, but you gotta have some tact and care. Points-scoring and grouping in completely unrelated groups of people shows you aren't giving much of either.

I don't think pushing the "no apology is ever good enough, never apologize" idea in the same thread where you're trying to angle yourself as someone who actually cares about harm reduction and rehabilitation is a good angle to try. It's all barely related, and comes off as performative.
