So my theory of Apocalypse is that he knows that when he uses his power it looks kind of stupid, so he tries to avoid that as much as possible and just strike poses while monologuing while the Horsemen do most of the work.

Reading all the Marvel comics in order means that I know that the actual Set is currently doing villainous shit in Thor and is definitely not this guy. Given that the EIC was writing Thor at this point, you'd think they could have all gotten on the same page about this.
