The scribe of GA 1894 (Patriarchate of Jerusalem, Sabas 676) having a bit of fun at the end of the page containing Eph 4:31
The Greek text of Eph 4:31 at the bottom of a page of a Greek manuscript, where the descender of the phi in βλασφημια transitions into the loop of a phi below it, whose descender transitions into the loop of another phi below it, whose descender transitions into the loop of a fourth phi below it.

Just noticed a cool new update to the INTF Virtual Manuscript Room: when you index the biblical contents of a manuscript, the interface makes an initial guess on the content of a page!
A screenshot of the indexing interface of the INTF Virtual Manuscript Room. The content "Gal 6:18-Eph 1:13" appears as a suggestion for a page that has not yet been indexed, with the note "guessed from 5 pages, about 1020 letters each."

Something fun's going on in the bottom margin of GA 2675 (Holy Monastery Panagia Kato Xenia MS 14, 14th century) on this page of Ephesians, but I'm not quite sure what! I thought it might be a practice alphabet, but it doesn't look like the Greek alphabet to me. Any ideas?

Requesting help from anyone out there with a good eye for Latin paleography! In the Latin side of GA 628 in Eph 3:1, there is a marginal note/correction and a supralinear correction, both pictured in the screenshot below. My questions about these two features follow in order.

We are excited to see that our forthcoming book, Greek Prepositions in the New Testament: A Semantic Description, is officially listed: Baker Publishing Group Amazon Logos Bible Software We are in the midst of the laborious process of reviewing galleys right now, but hope to see proofs in the coming months. Originally, the hope had been that the book would be available this fall in time for conferences, but we took some extra time this past January to add visual figures and image schemas for each preposition article with the hope of improving its usefulness for students.

The slides for my talk at KU Leuven's upcoming GA 629 conference are coming together nicely! I made a few tweaks to the KU Leuven LaTeX presentation style at gitlab.kuleuven.be/campus-geel/... to match some more recent official PowerPoint templates better. Check out this title slide!
Presentation title slide for the talk "Lateral Transfer via Latin Translation: What Phylogenetic Methods Reveal about Latin Influence on GA 629 (and Other Manuscripts) in Ephesians." The color theme is based on KU Leuven's colors, and KU Leuven's Sedes Sapientiae logo, shifted so that its top-left corner is visible, appears as a slightly darker imprint in the right corner of the slide.

Some Greek NT scribes would expand common nomina sacra like υς (for υιος, "son") and πνς (for πνευματος, "spirit") to their full forms when they did not have a divine referent. But this might be the first time I've seen a nomen sacrum corrected to this end! Here's Eph 2:2 in GA 1956:
The text of Eph 2:2 in GA 1956. The nomen sacrum πνς has a supralinear correction replacing the final sigma with -ματος.
