Hey—it's Harvard Divinity School's Karen King (very generously) discussing my book in a lecture on the Gospel of Mary! Is this H-Index? 🦋

Can someone make an account that just runs every new article in my field through Pangram and posts the results? I—and I'm sure others—would happily help pay for the Pangram subscription.

Requesting help from anyone out there with a good eye for Latin paleography! In the Latin side of GA 628 in Eph 3:1, there is a marginal note/correction and a supralinear correction, both pictured in the screenshot below. My questions about these two features follow in order.

I thought (for about one minute) today that I discovered a totally new work under the title of the Epistle to the Laodiceans. Then I realized that a lot of the words were French (e.g. "mais" for "sed"). Does anyone on here work on 13th century vernacular Latin/Old French?

My little liturgical-codicological mind has been blown. When I was reading the Bobbio Missal and Gelasian Sacramentary in Holy Week, I focused for the 1st time on the description of the ceremonies in Lent where the 4 Evangelist symbols + the opening of each Gospel were explained to catechumens. 🕯️🧵
Gelasian Sacramentary, BAV Reg lat 316, bottom of fol. 42r: the beginning of the description of the Expositio Evangeliorum, saying 4 deacons are to process from the sacristy with 4...Continuation of the Gelasian Sacramentary description of the Expositio Evangeliorum: ... (4 deacons process with) 4 Gospels...which are placed on the 4 corners of the altar.
