I made pesto just yesterday! Hacked down most of four basil plants that were growing so crazy I could barely see out the window. Had to make two trips to get it all in. Best half cup of pesto I’ve ever made.

If you’re old enough to have experienced Peak Mall this shouldn’t even require a think piece. They were safe spaces for kids and teens to hang out. Now they’re mostly gone. We live in a suburb with a small but thriving downtown; guess where my kid and her friends go when there’s nothing else to do?
