I built Cronicle because I wanted a place to document my life and because I wanted to put my lifespan into perspective. It's proven to be an effective way to align with what matters to me, heal from my past, and appreciate the present. Reconnect to what matters cronicle.me

I've been working on Cronicle for 2 years now. I use it as a weekly ritual to remind myself what matters and as an archive for my life so that I can understand how much I've lived and how much time has passed. And I just launched it! If you're interested try it out and let me know what you think!

“Four/Five” accessible flats - with bay window Juliette balconies. We’ve been exploring a few different ways to bring some familiar elements to a new building type (while remaining honest about what is needed in the form and envelope of a contemporary low carbon building).

Vancouver golf club next? haha jk, unless? seems to me that the lougheed area isn't actually all that nice to live/walk in with so many major roads going through it. Selfishly (in burquitlam), some more ammenities northeast of lougheed could help turn the 2 neighbourhoods into a really cool area

I built a lamp Sapelle wood. Built a template out of 1/4" ply and then used a router trim bit to get the curved arm. Bought the lampshade at value village for $5. Blew my breaker because I was silly then learned some more and did a much better job of wiring up the socket.

I've just finished my plywood shelves and now I'm diving deep into all the other things I could make and materials I could use. What if I used danish cord? or rattan? What if I made custom wooden lamps? I should add magnets to my work. Wish me luck

I had so much fun building bastila.app and I love the brand that @spencermarsh.bsky.social came up with. It turned out to be a really useful tool at my job but with the rise of so many AI code quality and code helper tools I think the approach I had would have been left in the dust

With the help of our amazing volunteers, we have been strategizing for a while now to make and install benches at bus stops that don’t have seating.

Memorials for the Lapu Lapu block party tragedy featuring a wooden bench in the foreground, with bouquets of flowers, candles, stuffed animals, and notes arranged along a fence. A large Philippine flag and a floral wreath are displayed prominently on the fence, surrounded by tributes and messages of condolence.

A sticker on a light wooden bench shows an illustration of two people hugging, one in a red jacket and the other in a purple jacket. Above them is the text "Nandito kami para sa inyo" and below, "Vancouver Filipino Emergency Response Collective."

A sidewalk lined with flowers, candles, and tributes along a chain-link fence, forming a memorial. A large Philippine flag and wreaths are visible among the offerings. A wooden bench sits on the grassy area to the left, and a person walks away in the distance. Trees and parked cars line the street on the left side of the image.

Designed and building my first piece of furniture. All plywood, sliding doors with no hardware, colorful bits are drawer fronts. The overhang will rest on a workbench. Built in 2 separate pieces so I can switch what side the overhang is on. Ignore the single leg, I'll figure out the legs later.
