Wilhelm said the food bank saw the numbers start to climb in June 2022, and the number of monthly users has continued to rise. Before the pandemic, the food bank spent around $200,000 annually on food. Now, it spends more than $3 million each year, Wilhelm said. #onpoli

My school has ~400 students, 85% of whom speak a language other than English at home. Six years ago, my school was allocated 3 ELL teachers. Students in Gr. 2-8 received 40-150 minutes of language support a day, depending on their needs. This year, my school was allocated half a teacher. #OntEd
