I have a new dentist coping strategy to share. My misophonia means that the noise of the drill sometimes causes irrational panic. I asked if I could wear the heavy x-ray vest while having a filling repaired today, and it — along with earplugs — really helped! It's a weighted blanket. 😆

It's our church tennis tournament today. The kid who runs it each year made these trophies and I think they are fantastic 😆

I recently saw that there is a correlation between low ferritin and ADHD symptoms in kids. I asked the pediatric specialist at Mac and she said 99% of the kids she tests are low for ferritin and need an iron supplement. I'm glad I learned that! Iron can make a huge difference for quality of life.

Tonight 13YO started at a youth mentorship program for the trades. He will be learning about all things electrical with an older guy named John.
