My nightmare: I spent about a year cross-stitching an original (highly niche) pattern. I took it to a local professional framer with good reviews. They were taking longer than expected – when I followed up they apologised, said they’d forgotten to order one of the materials but would do it ASAP. >

I'm usually not a fan of pre-made Negronis (I knows whats I likes, and I mix it myself), but this is surprisingly good. Plenty of dark spice and sweetness, a little heavy on the vermouth with a sophisticated clinging bitterness.

A bottle of The 924 Barrel Aged Negroni, in what is admittedly a very nice square-shouldered bottle, and a glass of the same with a phat wedge of cara-cara orange peel.

We are watching "Bananaball" which is just Blernsball. The pitcher has to do a backflip before pitching, and the batter is on stilts while an outfielder prowls around on a hoverboard. The batters have to sing a song to camera before they go up.
