I once again somehow spent the year thinking I was a year older than I was. Yknow what makes me the most mad about The Green Loontern? Like obviously there's a lot of things right? But the BIGGEST issue I have... "Loon" and "Tern" are both birds, but neither is the bird that Daffy Duck is ("Duck"). I appreciate that Green Duckduck doesn't work as well, but the point stands.

I honestly owe MGS5 apologies. On replaying 4 for the first time in 15 yrs, the lineage is so apparent. Some stuff I felt were 5-isms (ESPECIALLY shit like the overbearing radio chatter handholding) were already showing up in 4. Mechanically, 3 -> 4 -> 5 is a much smoother line than I remembered.

Feeling nostalgic for my "Grandma in a Bottle" phase. Now THERE was a Bit that had legs. Only 3 months ago but feels like a lifetime. Obviously doesnt hold a candle to... well, y'know, the Armistice and all that... but as Replacement Bits go, will be hard to beat "Grandma in a Bottle". I'll try tho!

I beat First Kiln mode recently, and as expected I unlocked the mode I saw coming. This is probably the last one, but I really have to applaud this game for the sheer amount of Struggle Gaming it has to give. I was satisfied 3 modes ago, but the game insists on giving me these lovely little treats!

Thing is, Annie'd be an Olympic gold-medalist by now if it worked for anything else. Can lob a mole from one shore of the Humber to the other, but can't throw a shotput past her toes. Thing about Annie, did a stint as a Humane Executioner. The "Prison to Pancake Pipeline": grabbed inmates by the waist, tossed em 300ft straight up, let em hit the ground. Made her quite sad. Got a soft heart has Annie. Used to go home and throw hummingbirds at a dartboard with the warden's face on.

Oh, her? Annie the Animal-Thrower. Give her ANY animal and she'll throw it. I once saw her throw an ox 10ft in the air and catch it. She got kicked off the court for nailing a 3-pointer with a jack russell. Got mad & darted a stag beetle at the back of a guy's head so hard he died. I still miss him.

Been interested in the concept of "throwing animals" lately. The physicality of it. I could throw a hampster further than i could a ant, but i could also throw a hampster further than i could a cat. So it's not the weight alone... each Animal has a distinct "throwability" attribute all of its own...

I'm arranging an animal-throwing tournament, by the way. All animals welcome (non-flying/gliding, of course), but be aware there will obviously be some kind of scoring formula that takes the creature's mass into account (exact math TBD). HORIZONTAL throws only, I'm not a monster. Free drinks, also.
