There's a piece of media i so so faintly recall. Show or movie maybe... someone's dreaming, and a kid turns to them and says "you're pissing yourself! you're pissing yourself!" and then they wake up and they peed. MIGHT'VE been one of the Scary Movies i haven't seen since I was a kid. Anyone know?

Resident Evil (2026) - Decent. Barely anything to do with RE, the IP feels tacked-on, but it's refreshing. Vibe is "stupidest streamer you know plays a horror game", just a bit of silly fun. Not sure what I think of Cregger's style, didn't care for Barbarian and haven't seen Weapons. Had fun, tho!

The cop's like "that sounds super illegal so I'll ignore that", which makes the message feel like the classic "superheroes are unencumbered by those pesky rules that hold cops back". Nobody even MENTIONS the ethics. Like, The Dark Knight dealt with the exact same issue with more nuance 18 years ago.

I'm sure it's a dead horse in circles I don't follow, but like... that glaring hypocrisy in the new Spider-Man where he throws a hissy-fit at nearly having his face scanned while spending the whole movie using face-recognition to track 'bad guys'... in a smarter movie I'd think that was intentional.

Had ZERO interest in seein the new spider-man, but a friend recommended it and I had a great time. Stands head-and-shoulders above every prev Holland entry. Had me smilin in places, and the villain was a cool surprise. Sadly also now I'm pro mass-surveillance & face-scanning cos spider-man needs it!

I think? That's what I heard. Some buildings fell over, it was on the news. Buildings fell over and then airports got more annoying forever and ever. I'm sure an American might have a better answer, they didnt teach us about 9/11 in school.

I once again somehow spent the year thinking I was a year older than I was. As someone who gets a bit dour abt my bday, staring in the rearview mirror at the ever-growing corpse pile of potential Mes that never got to Be, it's a nice relief to feel like I get a free year. That and 9/11 happened LOL!
