With all respect to the BBC, the reason this story "matters" is not about whether it distracts from Reform's conference. It "matters" because it is important our leaders are not conspiring to break the law.

Microsoft has reportedly shared the names of Dutch civil servants working for two regulatory agencies with the U.S. House of Representatives.

The civil servants involved are working on implementing the Digital Services Act (DSA), the European law that forces online platforms to take stricter action against illegal content, online child sex abuse, and disinformation. The American government considers this law a form of censorship.

Cork singer/songwriter Jimmy McCarthy’s last Monday night of four at the White Horse Inn in Ballincollig was truly a joy. Together these journeymen created music that at times had the small, tightly packed audience holding its breath so as to not break the spell…
Nights in Cafe Lorca’s, Connolly Hall, the Long Valley & Paul Durcan’s Corkscrew Hill - Cork in the 80’s - were all there as a backdrop to Jimmy McCarthy’s first series of public performances in ten years. There to support him old friends and musicians… Declan Synott, Mick Daly, Johnny Campbell, Brian Calnan and Paul Seymour.

Chapeau @kerrycoco.ie Ventured along a section of the Kerry Greenway near Glenbeigh today..What an absolute delight..from hedgerows with the beautiful but deadly Rhodies to wild lillies, farmland &rolling hills &the endless canopies of trees..when fully complete it will be nothing short of amazing.
Pillar box red gates marking the start of the Glenbeigh section of the long awaited Kerry Greenway. The ‘beautiful but deadly’ purple blossoms of Rhododendrons in abundance along the route. Deadly because they are so highly invasive.
A bridge over an old section of the railway line that ran from Killarney all the way to Reenard Point near Cahirsiveen. Beautiful sunny day, hedgerows brimming with blossoms of all sorts, the McGillicuddy Reeks ahead.Foxgloves abound along the route.
