Some of the strongest evidence I can come up with to rebut "rents never go down". This newer building—1122 University Ave. in Berkeley—saw all but one unit decline in price compared to the same unit rented last summer. This is in nominal dollars.

(A) It is small, it is not "usually full." (B) What are you talking about? There are bike lines all the way down Hopkins, and easy access from Hopkins to King. (C) You basically made that up. (D) I live about 600 feet from Monterey Market. I will ABOSUTELY benefit from these improvements.

It's worth noting that this isn't a random number but a goal that would simply restore the court to an earlier norm in which there's one justice for each of the judicial circuits. We used to have nine, we now have thirteen. The people defending the current setup have the tougher case to make here.

The basic assertion in the OP is just wrong. No one smokes on airplanes any more. E-tickets are a major improvement over paper. Airplane food is much, much better. Airports are cleaner, and have better shops. Air travel sucks in many ways. It does not suck worse than it did 50 years ago.

I went to High School in the Cleveland Suburbs. There were about 300 in my graduating class. I was one of the two Jews. Seven years later I got married, still in Ohio. I was the first Jew most of my in-laws ever met.
