The press will do stories on Republican sex creeps, but it will never, ever point out -- much less make an ongoing narrative out of -- the fact that the GOP has been *ridden* with sex creeps for decades. You have to be blind not to see the pattern.

Somehow not everyone is aware of fact alluded to below. So one more time: John Roberts, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett were all on GWBush 2000 'Florida Recount' team. (Which made GWB first prez in 112 yrs to 'win' after losing popular vote. Now they 'impartially' rule on our future.)

When I say John Roberts is a liar, hack, anti-democracy ideologue, and enemy of the Constitution, I do so in a civil manner. No yelling or cursing here. But since he will be remembered as an utter disgrace who tried to destroy the republic but failed, some in the future might say it less civilly.

FBI Director Kash Patel this week has faced the worst data breach in FBI history, a deputy who quit because Patel was doing too many unconstitutional things, and partied with a suspected double agent. And it's only Tuesday. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/the-disgra...

If they deserve to be impeached — and so many of them do — then the House should impeach them. Maybe the Senate won‘t convict but it’s still worth the effort to remind people that laws still exist and that Democrats still defend it. Also, as noted here, make ‘em sweat.

It would be more than a little ironic if Trump's CNN/MS NOW/Politico tantrum (and the resulting lack of coverage the entire WHCA is going to provide) is what finally educates the press about the extent to which Trump needs *them* even more than they need him.

It's also a congressionally mandated memorial to a slain president. Donald Trump is effectively demanding that his name be put on someone else's tombstone, and if he's not allowed to do it he's going to bulldoze the gravesite.

Samuel Alito is corrupt, accepting gifts from people with business before the court, and holding stocks directly impacted by cases he rules on. Those financial conflicts of interest and refusal to accept basic judicial ethics, on their own, warrant impeachment and removal. If the US had standards.

Coverage of the Canada trade war seems to be underselling an important point: Trump tore up NAFTA and made everyone sign a new agreement more to his liking in 2020 with a 16-year renewable term. Now he's tearing up that agreement. If his signature is meaningless why would Canada agree to anything?
