Five years ago, The Last of Us Part 2 was released. The first edition of The First of Us was also released on the same day. To celebrate, I'm giving away two copies of The First of Us 10th Anniversary Edition, each containing an original sketch, hand numbered, and signed. More info in the thread...

Two The First of Us 10th Anniversary Edition books on a black table, one inside its slipcase, the other book on top of its slipcase.

Close up of the two books standing close to each other, focusing on the spines, showing the reflective uv print, reading The First of Us.

First sketch, showing a sideview portrait of Ellie from The Last of Us Part 2, done with black pens.

Second sketch insidecthe other artbook, showing Joel from The Last of Us Part 2, close up of his face, done with some almostvempty brush pens, black pens and some ink.

Can't believe no one told me there was a new Shinichiro Watanabe show with action supervision by Chad Stahelski and music by Bonobo/Kamasi Washington/Floating Points. Seems like it was just dumped out there. First episode absolutely ruled. Well into this so far.

lots of devastation and negativity on the feed today. i know this won’t solve anything, but maybe it’ll make someone smile and just forget for a small moment. the beauty of the cosmos 🌌

Large orange, yellow, and red clouds of dust and gas tower in the image, interspersed with a few pink stars.

A spiral galaxy with a wide, oval-shaped disk. It has a shining spot at the center from which two curving, pale red spiral arms emerge, wrapping once each around the galaxy. They’re surrounded by a whirl of bright threads and patches of dust, with spots of star formation scattered throughout. The glow of the disk fades smoothly into the background where some patches of dust can be seen, as well as foreground stars.

The Orion Nebula is an expansive and cloudy cosmic landscape. Sweeping clouds that shine in pink, yellow, orange, and other colors are bright against the black backdrop of space. Big stars are forming and glowing within the nebula.

$Hundreds of stars and galaxies in varying shapes, sizes and colors on a black background. Two of the largest, most prominent stars can be found in the top left quadrant and near the bottom right edge, respectively. They are tinged with blue and have an eight-point diffraction spike pattern. Near the center of this image is the ZS7 system, made up of a merger between two galaxies and their black holes. The ZS7 system is not easily seen by the naked eye in this image, as it looks like very small red dots.$

The insanity of being a fire ecologist in the epicenter of a major fire event, bags packed and ready to evacuate, watching active fire from my window, while taking media requests and explaining to the public, for the 100,000th time how climate change is largely responsible for this

This is Susan Kare the most important designer you've probably never heard of. She single-handedly created all the icons for the original Mac, some of which we still use. The little wristwatch, the trashcan, the font suitcase, and (ugh) the bomb. Face it, none of this will ever look THIS cool.

I think retweeting and dunking on the worst takes possible is exactly how you make this space less enjoyable and start to feel like Twitter. Strongly encourage everyone to take a "mute user and move on" approach if you want to keep the vibes right.
