Excellent reporting here on a story that few understood. It’s shocking that a majority of councillors voted against the OAG’s Nathalie Gougeon’s recommendation that council FOLLOW POLICY when spending city money!!!

The City has significantly improved its sidewalk snow clearing in recent years, but cost pressures mean they won't codify the change. Residents in walkable neighbourhoods should be able to hold them (and us) to account for something better than 2003 standards. ottawacitizen.com/news/local-n...
