Our Board has approved the 66% Developed Design of The Ottawa Hospital’s New Campus. This approval includes: 🚗 A parking garage 🌳 A rooftop park 📍 Located near Dow’s Lake, the new facility will feature tennis courts, lawns, play areas, viewpoints, seating, trees and gardens.

Swimming season is over, but thanks to bubbles, the docks are still in! 🥂 Previously, we had to disconnect the NCC River House’s floating dock, barge it to Blair Road boat launch, remove it with a crane, and do the reverse in spring. This was a lot of work!

Is that pile of leaves also a pile of ticks? 🍂 Unfortunately, ticks love a warm fall as much as we do. Black-legged ticks can spread Lyme disease to humans. They are found in the wooded and brushy areas of our region like the Greenbelt.
