Here's the flyer for my senior seminar this coming spring. 🗃️
A flyer for "The United States since 1968" featuring a photograph of Bill Clinton and Al Gore in jogging attire and holding McDonald's cups. The rest of the text on the flyer reads: "Senior Seminar; HIS 4935-1; Professor Paul Renfro; Spring 2027; Wednesdays, 3–5:45 p.m."

I've struggled explaining to people: so there was this weird group that was obsessed with the idea that AI would lead to human extinction. And they were super worried about it. So to prevent that they created AI.

the new Criterion Channel UX handles dubbed versions differently; rather than two different files or versions in the UX, it's a single version and then you can set the audio to one of two (or more) different tracks as it is playing. kinda the same as subs.

Every time I return to Paris, I notice they've done more to reclaim streets from drivers and cars, including removing on-street parking, protecting cyclists from drivers, and prioritizing pedestrians and cyclists in shared spaces. Other cities can learn a lot from Paris.

the KOM cycling brand handlebar bike computer mount has the mounting bolt accessed from the bottom, which I just now have realized is a user experience disaster; the bolt works itself loose and then falls out the bottom and you’ll never even notice until it’s too late.
