'Tis the season to enjoy tiny stories in the form of poetry, because The Halloween Parade is a section of A NIGHTMARE FOR ALL SEASONS. In this section, you're introduced the whole autumnal carnival in a small town. There's even a chili cook-off. www.amazon.com/dp/B0GWF7GFG8 #HorrorWritersChat
The five seasons of A NIGHTMARE FOR ALL SEASONS: Verdant with Splinter and Thorn ("a carnivorous spring") represented by flowers, The Lusty Murders of May ("a murderous summer") represented by a bright sunny day, The Halloween Parade ("an autumn carnival") represented by orange fall leaves, Bleak Midwinter ("a winter haunted house"), and Lullabies for an Apocalypse ("an ignoble end") represented by abandoned building.

#HorrorWritersChat Q3: Oupha douph, that's tough. I'd need someone who fits the interactive vibe I'm trying to build—someone into monsters, but also gaming (tabletop or video). I think Clive Barker would probably be a dream pick to share a table with. Pictured: The table ⬇️

#HorrorWritersChat Q3: That's an interesting one, I havn't really depicted loss in that way. But in one of my fantasy stories a parasite (a demon) loses their son, and in the scene when they confront the killer there is no catharsis. How could there be? No one has sympathy for monsters.

#HorrorWritersChat Q2: When I've used parasites, it's usually in the form of demons which I have causing physical and mental deformation. Mental because of the lost autonomy, but in my works I have demons making themselves at home in bodies. Altering and tailoring them like clothes.
