Played Layer 8 and I can confirm that it is so fucking good. It's genuinely some wonderful artistic work

Genuinely, correct, this is completely out of character for Kiryu. At every opportunity, RGG has completely shit the bed. This current group seems to be nothing but shitty dudes letting their shitty beliefs come out and have said fuck you if you don't like it. This current RGG is done-zo.

Growing up, I always feared to let my hair grow too long because of the discrimination, not wanting to bring attention on me but also the stereotype of "boys should not have long hair bla bla". Now as an adult, I am so happy to let them grow as long as I want! Loving yourself is important❤️

A photo of me with my hair down, brushed back and ready to make an afro, round shape.

If we're talking turkeys, this one is my favourite.

The turkey being taken out of a freezer to defrost meme with a change in text I don't know who needs to hear this even if it was your fault you can't dwell on your past mistakes forever. You have to move on and strive to be the person you want to be, not the person that you used to be.

Hades 2's original ending was good, people just lack media literacy

000

Jackal_DSL @jackaldsl.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

The ending is largely the same but it just has more to spell out what was originally inferred and thematically bound. Personally I think the og ending was good and that people needed to understand what it was going for

010

Jackal_DSL @jackaldsl.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

So without spoiling and based on what I've seen, they've largely changed things because there were a huge number of people who complained about the ending so much that SGG made it so that the ending was more spelled out and also changing other details that don't change the end result.

When I worked at a movie theater a coworker had broken his ankle so they had a chair in the box office for him and we would use it when he wasn’t on shift with us and then management found out and took the chair away and made him have to bring it downstairs himself every time he clocked in

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

Author and filmmaker Justine Bateman on generative AI

"They're trying to convince people they can't do the things they've been doing easily for years - to write emails, to write a presentation. Your daughter wants you to make up a bedtime story about puppies - to write that for you." We will get to the point, she says with a grim laugh, "that you will essentially become just a skin bag of organs and bones, nothing else. You won't know anything and you will be told repeatedly that you can't do it, which is the opposite of what life has to offer. Capitulating all kinds of decisions like where to go on vacation, what to wear today, who to date, what to eat.
People are already doing this. You won't have to process grief, because you'll have uploaded photos and voice messages from your mother who just died, and then she can talk to you via AI video call every day. One of the ways it's going to destroy humans, long before there's a nuclear disaster, is going to be the emotional hollowing-out of people." - author and filmmaker Justine Bateman from a piece by Emine Saner for the Guardian
