Instead, the list puts forth that there’s not a single anime produced in the last 26 years that’s better than Scandal (100) or The Gilmore Girls (99). That feels purposeful to me. Intentionally ignorant. And classist, to be frank.

Was beyond delighted when Stringer asked if I could try some local Nigerian food to verify it’s flavors for authenticity. Pass the Jollof in Seattle is legit and has really good pricing. (Which is a whole thing in the current Nigerian culinary discourse)

I think the most frustrating part of the pro-AI argument is the sentiment of “well it’s here to stay, so you have to learn it or get left behind”. Outside of video players which were determined by porn, most prevailing tech wins out by the consumer demand. AI is trying to work the other way around.

I am not speaking in hyperbole when I say that I genuinely believe that the world would be a better place if people had enough of a spine to treat bad actors in every community this way. However, with proximity to money and fame everyone’s descernment and morals just kinda evaporate.
