the first thing I ever lobbied for was hot cocoa at the Minnesota North Stars Hockey Arena.
I was five. I was always cold at games and there were no hot drinks for kids. I ask my mom who the boss was. I wrote the owner, he wrote me back, invited my mom and I to his box, and started selling cocoa.
