Last Saturday was the 2026 Toyplosion, billed as Germany's and Europe's biggest retro toy convention, now in its fourth year. As in previous years, the 2026 Toyplosion took place at the Europahalle in the Ruhrgebiet city of Castrop-Rauxel. For me, this was the third Toyplosion. I missed the first one, because both my parents were sick at the time, but I attended the 2024 and 2025 editions. You can see my comments about the previous Toyplosions here. Toyplosion is a great con and a must for toy collectors, so of course I was going to attend this year as well.
