Sincerely, though, part of the lift of Reading Rainbow was removing the “reading is unpleasant drudgery” stigma. Seeing kids enthusiastic about things kids liked was part of the draw. The education system has yet to break out of this and every time it tries some BACK IN MY DAY twit knocks it back.
