Honestly, stuff like this is what makes this game special. The writing in it, and especially moments like this, really is on a level rarely shared by other RPGs. #baldursgate #bg3 #rpg

Apparently this concept is difficult so i drew a picture

A very basic drawing of a bar with good on the left, silence in the middle, and evil on the right.
There is an arrow pointing to the division between good and silence that says ‘Where the line of
opposition actually is’

There is another arrow pointing to the division between silence and evil that says ‘Where people think the line of opposition is’

Finished the audiobook Blood Will Tell by Jason Schmetzer the other day. Good plot, characters were dynamic, and love the interactions between Danai and her tutor/friend Mina. Also though, the narration by Liisa Lee is phenomenal. Really need the sequel in audio format. #battletech #booksky #scifi

For the first time in a long time, I have cancelled gaming with people (in this case, an all-day game of Twilight Imperium) in order to do GM prep for a plot arc finale. Feels...weird but good to be a responsible GM for once. #ttrpg #GMing #WFRP #Warhammer

What in the actual fuck. I'm sure some people will say it isn't feasable, but I really wish there was an avenue for trans citizens in the US to claim some sort of refugee status and go north (saying this as a Canadian). This is just more proof that the US wants to punish LGBTQ+ people for existing.

Once again, a good reminder of why I moved away from the praries and Conservative heartland. It's never about protecting anyone, it's because they want to go back to the "good old days" when women were in the kitchen and Starlight Tours was normal.

I finished She-Ra and the Princesses of Power a couple days ago. That's the third show I ripped through after Avatar and Korra. And the writing, characters, and story in it is so damn good. I just wish there was more of it, because I am not ready for it to be over. #SheRa #SPOP #anime #catradora

The more I think about it, the more I've realized the way I feel about Warhammer 40k is the way the Emperor felt about humanity. I say I love it, some days I even believe it. But I think I like the idea of it much more than the actual reality of what it is, and the state it's perpetually stuck in.

Well, after watching Avatar, naturally it was time to binge The Legend of Korra next. Gorgeous visuals, fantastic narrative, can be hard to watch at times for the brutal pain Korra goes through, but in the end it's beautiful. Easily in my top 10 now. 💜🩵❤️ #thelegendofkorra #lok #korrasami #avatar

After putting it off for years, I finally got around to watching Avatar the Last Airbender, finishing it today. And I get it. Sure, it starts off as a children's show essentially, but the stories, narrative, and themes are beautifully written and incredibly well-done. #atla #avatarthelastairbender

obsessed with thomas. happy pride 🪿🌈✨

tumblr post with a screenshot of an article titled “Blind Bisexual Goose Named Thomas Who
Spent Six Years in a Love Triangle With Two Swans And Helped Raise 68 Babies Dies at The Ripe Old Age Of 40”

subheading: He's a bit much

MAY 29, 2024

RIP to the legend

tumblr post continues

This goose fucking rocks and had a crazy life!
(link to Thomas’ wikipedia article)

I really just have to summarize Thomas's entire life:

• He was in a committed relationship with a male swan named Henry for 18-24 years before a female swan named Henrietta showed up and mated with Henry.
• Thomas was initially jealous of the pair and attacked them, breaking 2 of the 5 eggs Henrietta had laid. However, once the remaining eggs hatched, Thomas warmed up to them and helped raise them.
• Henry couldn't fly because of an injured wing, so Thomas taught the cygnets how to fly.
• When they needed to reduce the goose population in the pond where Thomas and the swans lived, they dyed Thomas's feathers red so he wouldn't be separated from Henry.
• Henry, Henrietta, and Thomas remained in their happy throuple for years and raised 68 cygnets before Henry died in 2009. After Henry's death, Henrietta found another swan and flew away, leaving Thomas alone.
•Thomas finally met and mated with a female goose in 2011 and had his own babies. However, another goose named George stole them and raised them himself.
• As Thomas grew elderly and blind, he was relocated to a wildlife center where he raised orphaned cygnets.
• His caretaker at the center described him as "pretty high maintenance."
• Thomas died in 2018 at the age of around 40. He had a funeral that included a small coffin and a procession that was led by a bagpiper.
He was buried under the stone where Henry was buried, the two finally reunited in death.
• Before and after his death, Thomas has been celebrated as an icon of the LGBTQ+ community for obvious reasons.

Well, another Warhammer book done, this time The High Kahl's Oath. I really like the exploration of Votann society, and their practical, no-nonsense approach (unsurprising for space Dwarves). The plot was straightforward but fun. Hope we see more of them going forwards. #40k #warhammer #booksky

More right-wing bigots are trying to assert and normalise their narrow views onto other people, this time in Austrailia. Hope this gets some visibility and traction, and that it gets shut down. Anti-trans hate has no place in civilised society. #LGBTQ+ #transrights #transgender

"It's gonna be" written large across the top with MAY in the middle, like a triangle with one option on each of its 3 sides: Linkin Park's image sings: "Everything you say to ___ !" Another side: KoRn sings,"Something takes a part of ___!" and the last side shows N'Sync singing, "It's gonna be ___!"

First time making trees like this. Bought way too much stuff (trees, glue, flocking), followed some guides online, and discovered that hot glue is in fact the best medium for attaching clump foliage to branches, and will in fact get on my fingers every time. #terrain #ttrpg #trees #D&D #Warhammer

Very good video, and pretty fucking distressing. I recommend everyone give this a watch, as it paints a clear picture of how corrupt and horrific the US administration is, and how authortarian they want to be. #politics #US #fascism #Trump #AI

This is a very salient point. The lack of uniformity in homeschooling quality may be an issue, but I've met a few different people who were homeschooled. Some are absolutely lacking in some areas, and others were demonstrably better educated than most people who went to public school. #homeschooling
