For many, today is the last weekend before school restarts. Sorting uniform, finding books, preparing to be reunited with friends. For my kid, who won't be returning to school, it is a time of huge uncertainty. We don't yet have a clear path forward. English schools are no longer a viable option.

There's a multi-year saga where people in Edinburgh put up the trans flag and terfs complai to have them taken down. Now there is an insane story where two council workers were taken to hospital after removing a trans flag, and police closed a junction twice, but actually everyone is fine.
