Today is the election in Brazil. Lula against Bolsonaro's son. If Bolsonaro wins, it will probably be the last real election. He'll try the same "second term is way worse" strategy, and it will look much more like traditional fascism with Hitlerjugend, flags, and strong support by the churches.

Sat on the kitchen floor for half an hour, untangling a string-of-hearts grown wild. Removing dead loss and some of the dinosaur eggs it likes to grow. All bc a single, tiny flower caught my eye. Only one on the whole plant. A tiny, quiet chore before making tea & washing bedding. Sunday stuff. 💜

My son’s gf made the BEST gumbo I’ve ever had—not that I’ve had much. I didn’t think I really cared for gumbo. 🤷‍♀️ Was fully prepared to be politely hungry at dinner tonight but nope, that was *delicious* 🤤🥹 This kid can COOK. I’m a very lucky mama and bonus mama. Plus! Grandkitties!! The best. 🫶
