In 1980, age 8, I went to Radio Shack "computer camp" classes. The instructor said computers can't lie. I said yes they can, and made a BASIC program on my TRS-80 that lied. He said that didn't count because I made it lie. I said yes, that's my point. He told me to be quiet. And now, here we are.

Technologically, every labor-saving invention has saved labor. The problem is with the bosses, the ownership class, who view labor saved as theft. The problem lies with those who think that if technology cuts your time to accomplish a task in half, you should be forced to do twice as many tasks.

I deleted a post because it would probably seem like I was attacking all Catholics, which is not my intent. But the crimes of the Church are legion, and even the nicest and best Pope hasn't stopped them. Refusing medical care to trans people is evil. I think Catholics need to have a reckoning.
