Yeah, I was copying a Daniel Warren Johnson sketch both as part of the joke (this went semi-viral a few months ago) and because I still can't really draw without a reference.

I know you're not allowed to say this during the current debate, but the reason the left dominates academics, art, comedy, and music is that the right has stupid, discredited ideas, they're not funny, and dull resentment does not make for good art. No grand conspiracy required.

For a brief time in the 80s the original X-Men pretended to be Mutant ICE (X-Factor) and financially ruined the lives of mutant bigots.
A shocked man exclaims over a $42,000 for X-Factor's "mutant hunting" services bill while Cyclops, Marvel Girl and Iceman, undercover, smirk. Behind his back they all say "Ha, ha, ha! I could learn to like this! We get what we want and take the mutant-haters to the cleaners at the same time! Ha-ha-ha!!" as he glumly walks away.

It's conference season, so I wanted to share the AI refusal statement I put at the end of my presentations and book talks. Feel free to use it!
AI Refusal Statement
I did not use generative AI at any point in the production of this book or presentation, including the literature review, writing, editing, translation, organization, or any other task (e.g. brainstorming). To the extent that it is possible to know, I did not cite any studies that used generative AI.
Justification: GenAI technology is based on stolen labor, anti-solidarity between workers, class exploitation, structural racism, misogyny, environmental injustice, and climate destabilization.

Trump was photographed with toilet paper on his shoe twice in his first term. That might seem normal, we've all had this happen at airports, etc. But do you think The President is just shitting in shared bathrooms? If he stepped on toilet paper he threw it on the ground himself.

Excited to see this tomorrow. Woman of Tomorrow might be my favorite superhero comic.
A page from woman of tomorrow where Supergirl sits beside Ruthe

**Panel 1**

CAPTION: I was not born naive, nor have I ever taken comfort in the practice of naivety.

CAPTION: From the moment I tasted this life's air, I was cognizant that evil was extant -- that it was waiting and willing.

**Panel 2**

CAPTION: But in that street that day in that small town, having heard that story, I was indeed sideswiped.

CAPTION: For that day I learned the truth of all things.

RUTHE: I cannot fathom it. I...these people are so...they live their lives so kindly. You saw them. They're...they have families, they have...

**Panel 3**

CAPTION: Just as every man has two faces, so does every place.

CAPTION: And you can spend your days knowing just where you are and still be hopelessly lost.

RUTHE: All those dead and Krem just got away. How can...

**Panel 4**

Ruthe: It's too big. We're too small.

**Panel 5**

[Supergirl hugs Ruthe]

This is Chootie. He looks like a dog, but from one of those 15th century paintings done by someone who had only ever heard about dogs. 12/10 (IG: chootieboy)
a very fluffy white creature with light brown markings on its back and ears is resting flat on some concrete tiles with a body like a slightly inflated bearskin rug. his legs and tail are merely puffy nubs, but his front paws are completely shaved for hygiene purposes, giving him the grabby-hands look of a feral raccoon. his face is an exuberant expression, with all his features slightly too close together, including his mismatched and somewhat human brown and blue eyes. he is simultaneously ridiculous and delightful.

AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER
It is important to recognize that the creative ideas about a problem often come when the person is not engaged at the terminal. In fact, with some persons
such ideas are unlikely to occur during the actual man-machine dialogue because the operator feels harassed or under pressure when in direct communication with the computer. Many persons who are writing programs at a terminal find that they can make the programs work more quickly because of interactive debugging, but the results are more ragged. They feel forced to think too quickly and, often carelessly, allowing the computer to pick up mistakes that they would not have made when working on a coding sheet.
