DoorDash spent $1.4M trying to stop Zohran Mamdani from becoming mayor. This week's historic $131.5M enforcement action against DoorDash for underpaying NYC delivery workers shows why. Yet another reminder that the only thing that can beat organized money is organized people.

In a wage-theft settlement, DoorDash now has to pay its workers around 100 times what it spent trying to beat Zohran Mam

We don't have to live like this. Look at all the billionaires and technofascists dining with Trump and Xi tonight. They pay off both sides of the aisle. The only way out is to crush them, and we need fighters to do that. nypost.com/2026/09/24/u...

I was diagnosed with #ADHD shortly before turning 40. The more I have learned about it, the more things about my childhood make sense. I was always a B-C student, and that was a struggle. I would watch worse behaving students fly by with A's, and be very confused because I was genuinely trying.

The fact that the US is pushing Ukraine and Russia for an 'energy ceasefire' right around the same time the Iranians have just toasted the Saudi East-West pipeline and the Yemenis have taken control of the entrance to the Red Sea tells us everything we need to know. It's all the same war.

CEO pay is up 1,316% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 28%. CEOs are now paid 325 TIMES as much as the typical worker in their industry, according to @epi.org Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

Selling control of our airports to foreign investors means more costs for Canadians and could compromise safety. So why won't Parliament be allowed to debate this? Yesterday, the Speaker denied my request for debate on this critical issue. @canadianlabour.bsky.social

Workers are losing their right to strike and Canada is being sold for parts so naturally Canada’s columnist class is focused on what really matters: Why the only prominent progressive voice in politics right now is Evil for criticizing a literal genocide
Robyn Urback, sharing her Globe op-ed, writes: “Avi Lewis' foolish statement should be disqualifying for the leader of a major political party.
However, because he is leader of the NDP, and because his target was Jews, it very well could boost his internal support by five points.”Gary Mason, another prominent Globe and Mail columnist, shares Robyn’s post and writes: “This is the best and most important piece I have read today. My colleague nails it. I hope Avi Lewis reads it and responds appropriately.”Stephen Maher, sharing Robyn’s op-Ed (which is titled ‘Opinion: Avi Lewis's foolish statement on 'Jewish people' should be disqualifying’) writes: “I think Lewis is in many ways impressive, and Carney is creating conditions for an NDP revival, but I must agree with this.”

1/ We know what happens when public infrastructure gets privatized: costs go up, quality goes down, and it's everyday people who end up paying for it. Mark Carney's Investment Summit might be over, but the fight to protect our public goods isn't.
Canada's infrastructure belongs to the people.

Carney decided, on his own, that there should be two Conservative parties at the federal level. While Liberals were never all that progressive, former Liberals are calling him fully right-wing, including a Chretien-era minister. It's arguably an attack on democratic choice.
