This is going to kill many public libraries, especially in rural areas. If you use a public library, you will be impacted. #imls is a dust mote in the federal budget. It also provides things like internet at your local library so people can apply for jobs and kids can do homework.

YES. Public libraries are literally one of the very greatest things about this country. Support them in your community because they provide LOADS of services that no one else does - and folks will need that more and more under Trump. But the Democratic Party should do this as well. Everywhere.

I got off SSRIs almost 2 years ago and spent most of 2023 recovering from post-acute withdrawal but if I had to do it the way Mr. Brainworm proposes here I'd probably have stayed on the meds out of spite. (Also goes w/o saying psych meds are life saving for a lot of people and not an addiction, so.)
