The theme for todays #31DaysofGraves is Animal and I humbly present to you.... a Baboon.... no really it is.. Found supporting a coat of arms on the Babington monument of c1538 at St Winifred's, Kingston on Soar, Nottinghamshire it's a play on the family name 'Baboon'gton.

Day 8 of #31DaysOfGraves - Animal This is the lion at the foot a medieval knight's effigy located inside the early 19thC Ceres Church, Fife. The recumbent figure is in superb condition, having been discovered buried nearby. It offers a wonderful insight into the lost medieval church on this site.
A carved stone lion looks outwards towards the camera. Two carved armoured feet are using it as a footrest. This image shows the rear side of the carved stone lion, its head and shoulders covered in a luxurious mane.An image of the entire recumbent medieval knight, wearing armour and holding his hands clasped in prayer, both feet resting on the lion.

The "you bow to no one" bit in The Return of the King has me, amidst the usual tears, thinking about using it as an example of linguistic ambiguity. Do you take it to mean: 1) you are bowing to me, Aragorn, and I am no one compared with you 2) you are bowing, but there is no one you should bow to
