Two Big Firemen and 25 Years of Bullshit: Donald Trump Has Never Stopped Lying About 9/11
Friday he’ll be the only living president not at Ground Zero, and today he stood at the White House and told a story about firefighters carrying him to safety. None of it holds up. It never has.

In a week of incendiary statements, this from Kevin Lamour, who at least for tonight remains FIFA COO, is incredibly damning in that it is from an insider that goes beyond this one scheme and is an assassination in a few hundred words of the FIFA president as a leader of global football.

absolutely spot on re Nigel Farage’s speech - from Tom Peck
He was angry, mainly, at all the attention that has been given to the highly unusual sources of his now-considerable wealth. But don't worry, hes definitely earned it.
"Going back to the Nineties, I was in the commodity markets and I had a very, very good, high-earning career," he explained. "I gave that up at a huge cost. Being a member of the European parliament for 20 years cost me a huge amount of money." Being a member of the European parliament for 20 years earned Nigel Farage about two or three million euros. He also, as luck would have it, will be 63 next year and so eligible for a nice little £80,000 a year pension for his dedicated service to Brussels.
Since then, he has, he explained,
"had the equivalent of a lottery win".
This lottery win is the f5m that appeared in his bank one morning, shortly betore he became an MP, and which he didn't think it would be necessary to declare to anyone.
The standards commissioner is investigating this matter so we don't wish to pre-empt his findings, but if he does conclude it was the
"equivalent of a lottery win", then the matter will surely be declared over. Until now, it hadn't been known that millions of other people had bought tickets from the Thai-based crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne and one lucky man, called Nigel Farage, had been randomly chosen as the winner.

Nigel Farage’s 'Pro-Sleaze' By-Election Is A Sign Of Terminal Weakness
The Reform leader's desperate decision to call a back-me-or-sack-me by-election is a sign of a politician who knows he is finally being exposed for the man he really is, argues Adam Bienkov

What’s this. The government of Ireland trying to address a problem by throwing money at businesses and doing nothing for consumers? It didn’t help consumers when they gave the fuel suppliers a tax cut and allowed them to increase their prices by the same amount, but surely it will work this time.

“The government’s approach, for a very long time, has been to project powerlessness in the face of every inconvenience, to blame ‘global megatrends’ as Varadkar did in his goodbye speech. To make the public feel insane for even suggesting that the government can solve problems.” This week’s column!
