Also lost my job, but that's way down on the list of shit I'm concerned with tbh. Table tilt test in July, I've filed for disability because *gestures broadly* and I'd like to build a time machine to go back and pay for my mother's IUD before the honeymoon. I'm handling this extremely well, I feel.

The Ehlers-Danlos just means sometimes I wake up in too much pain to move. That one sucks, not much I can do about it beyond hot baths, ibuprofen, and resistance band bullshit. My doctor has referred me to a physical therapist who specializes in EDS but lacking health insurance, that's gotta wait.

So, the POTS is doing better, with the addition of sodium, a heartrate/blood pressure tracker, and compression. That at least lets me be mobile enough to gradually start improving my overall condition. Baby steps, because I've been mostly horizonal since March.

So apparently I've always had EDS (I thought I was just normal amounts of bendy) and now POTS has joined the party. Fighting with my state for unemployment, trying to get a treatment plan together, not really enjoying life in horizontal mode? But managing. Ish.

Coworker #3 has found a 4,000 year old Sumerian cheesecake recipe. Coworker #1: "This man's making Gilgamesh's fucking cheesecake." Coworker #2, reading it: "They put raisins in this??" Me: "That's the cheesecake that got Gilgamesh's auntie banned from the cookout." We are all completely insane.
