Texting is not helpful. In this context I know privilege won’t help me. I am in the field. I have been doing it since high school. I’m 61 years old. I’m well aware of the bullshit that goes on , but making a crack about women and abortion yeah that just struck me wrong.

It’s not about being a good one or a bad one. I’ll definitely own the White part, absolute unearned privilege. But I’m still a woman. It was the crack about abortion and the other stuff that pissed me off. The system works as intended. We don’t need strongly worded letters. More of us than them.
