I feel like Xi Jinping talked about the “Thucydides trap” as a flex, because he knows (as WE ALL do) that Trump has no idea what those syllables mean. He couldn’t spell it. He couldn’t pronounce it. He probably thinks it’s the guy pushing the rock. Or one of the characters from the Odyssey.

They can’t make money via subscriptions. Ads were always the best way for especially the actors and writers to continue to share in the profits. It’s why they pulled The Mysterious Benedict Society and American Born Chinese less than a year after they debuted. Didn’t want to pay residuals.
