Keep in mind that this is not rare at all. Somewhere around in eighth of all people who are in prison were always jnown to be innocent and about a quarter of the people in jail are just there because they can't pay bail.

Part of the issue is that humans anthropomorphize everything and we don't really have language to describe a non sentient machine capable of doing tasks once reserved only for humans. The battle over language to describe AI is getting so tedious. I agree about putting Altman in prison though.
