I have some very American and unfortunate news for your metaphor: it's becoming more common to x-ray the bomb remotely and then shoot it remotely. Because opening the bomb is just too much risk. And yes there is definitely room for a joke about Bombs getting free healthcare.

Follow up: I lived obviously, but the shame nearly got me. Someone gave me an air hose by putting in my mouth and using my vest as a handle because I didn't care. My dad said it was like bringing luggage to the surface. The problem is the peace ran out instantly at 70ft with the group around me. 😰

I have to say there is no accurate way to describe how weird narcosis is as someone who's experienced it once. Someone else realized I was breathing on a dry tank and just didn't notice I didn't have air and had to tell me and I try to swim away from them cuz they were getting in my way.

My work software lets us put it on a card. And allows you to stabilize the deductions as investments. It comes out of my pay and I have a loaded debit card for medical needs and if it's full my paycheck buys more stock. Then I just take my card to CVS for meds etc. it's kind of perfect.
