dismissing sex in media with "why don't you just go watch porn" is a sex-negative stance, and tbh it's anti-porn too. if sex is a segregated part of our existence, then it's much more vulnerable... that's bad in itself, but it's particularly bad when some groups are considered sexual by default.

Pretty label floppy disks 💜 I was kindly given a heads-up on how the MSX-Fan animal mascot showed up on the floppy disks included with the magazine. And thanks to 'Bin Bowie' who grabbed a bunch of them and did high-quality scans for IA, we can see just how MSX-Fan went to town on the labels too.

1200 dpi quality scans of four teal-green floppy disks with various anime character artwork labels in various single colours such as peach, purple, and red.

From an Japanese auction for one of the issues: a photo of the presentation cardboard disk-sleeves decorated with artwork and screenshots of the included software. No being stuck with sellotope to the covers of the mag like they were here.

I was once on a BA flight from the US to London that had to make an emergency landing at Goose Bay military base in Newfoundland. Our crew also disappeared into town and after going through passport control ('purpose of visit?!') passengers were left to work things out for themselves.
