Adam Hamilton seems interesting. (Said cautiously because I only know a little.) Former Republican, pastor who preaches tolerance. Huge improvement over Marshall in every way. I do wonder if it’ll be difficult to get his vote on ending filibuster, etc.

“Report” doing a lot here. Hanania’s tweet notwithstanding, this interview is a humdinger. The guy seems mentally incapacitated and his recounting of a trip to heaven is treated like on-the-ground reporting. His mention let alone emphasis on Jesus’s masculinity would seem overt parody.

Much of my careers consists of navigating disagreements over the interpretation of language agreed to 5-10 years predispute. There is no shared, unimpeachable consensus among drafters even at the time language is drafted. Pretending such a consensus exists is naive at best.

When the Va SC overturned the redistricting this spring, I had VA-01 as Lean R at best, just within reach. This poll is in line with Fiftyplusone’s Lean D rating and out of line with Cook, which has Lean R.

Polling is abysmal for them, but I get nervous naming the states Dems need to win. NC of course, Maine was a plum #2 but Collins is Collins, Ohio, Texas, Iowa, Florida, South Carolina. Like despite the godawful polling, I could see it being 49-51 come Jan ‘27, or could see Dems winning 6+ seats.
