#NEW: A three-judge federal panel dismissed the NAACP’s challenge to Tennessee’s new congressional map splitting Memphis three ways. The court found plaintiffs didn’t plausibly show race, not politics, drove the 9-0 map. It’s the second challenge to the map the court has turned away.

Ngl I think Digger wouldn’t flop financially as much if it was an A24 or a Neon film (Great film though, those “critics” were all paid by Big Hollywood to tank this piece of cinematic art)

Despite what the media says about this Parti Québécois victory, the actual results doesn’t suggest that Quebec separatism is the majority. Together with left-wing Québec solidaire, Quebec separatists won 40% of popular vote in yesterday’s election.

PQ appeared to slip back to an extent after its leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon gone back to his usual hostility towards Canada as it was appeared that PQ could win majority government With all that and the fact that PQ tends to underperform the polls in mind, my guess is that it’ll be PQ minority

Victoria is about to have the most unpredictable election in living memory
Much has been written about the rise of Pauline Hanson's One Nation in the past 12 months. The Victorian election will give us our best look yet at the decline of the two-party system.
