OMG THIS! This was one of the reasons why I stopped reading the IDW Sonic on Comixology. They originally had it DRM free, but around the time the Imposter Syndrome mini series they started removing that. I'll happily start reading it again if IDW started offering DRM free downloads again.

Kinda tangentially related, but if there's one frustration I've had with digital comics, it's how many platforms advertise themselves as offering DRM-free, PDF downloads... but publishers can (and often do) opt out. The big publishers especially.
