A single market whether within the UK or EU requires freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and people. Regulation is also required to ensure a level commercial playing field. Regulation costs money. These things are not optional and cannot be negotiated away.

The higher education sector brings in about £27 billion in foreign earnings to the UK. It's about the same as the car industry. The home office is arbitrarily cutting the income from foreign students in higher education by about 10%. Racism makes us all poorer.

So many problems would go away if instead of asking "what can we do about X?" we instead ask "is X a problem?". Cutting welfare further will create misery & invite another recession -- the least well off spend most of their money locally. We might consider doing something about corporate welfare.

If you allow billionaires to have their way, they take control of the media, refuse to pay taxes and keep wages very low so that they can maximise their profits. To protect their interests, they will also restrict freedom of speech and support far right parties. Prevent this by limiting their power!
