Can't wait for the "we have to listen to the people" speeches from German center politicians. This is not how our system is supposed to work. Your party is supposed to come up with a program to better people's lives and you have to explain it to the electorate. See article 21 GG

Shout out to this unknown sign writer guy for their sarcastic humour.

I believe it's just right and proper to get this kind of welcome everywhere I go

São Paulo might not be the richest/safest mega city in the world, but certainly one of the coolest

I don't want to pat myself on the back, but I have the "rumpled looking pear on legs" style down to a T.

@greatdismal.bsky.social have you any plans to have China as setting for a future story? Places like Shanghai or Shenzhen seem to me as if they could come straight out of a cyberpunk novel. Grime and ("invisible") crime on one side, glitzy high-tech and wealth on the other.

Unpopular opinion incoming. I am off a plane on which I was surrounded by pretty famous conservative politicians. Reminded me that, compared to other countries, we are fairly well off when it comes to who is in politics. Most of them are well meaning, hard working and take their jobs seriously.

Is there a championship for dull people? I might not be number 1, but I guess I would have a fair shot at the top 5.

We adopted this little fellow from our local shelter just over a week ago. Looks grumpy, but one of the sweetest cats I know. Already keeps me from working. #adoptdontshop

Crossing the Öresundbridge between Sweden and Denmark on my way to Germany marked (for now) the end of my 17 years living abroad. Really weird feeling, this.
