We don't have the disability education infrastructure to support a growing number of kids who are going to be disabled because their parents didn't get them vaccines against illnesses that can lead to the development of disabilities.

Disappointed in Jon Stewart. There are good reasons to mask — you might be immunocompromised, chronically ill, living with someone who is, or have made the very rational choice to try to avoid long COVID. Masking is a sign of care. Jon has the cultural capital to change minds, and he chooses this

It was reprehensible when people mocked condom usage at the height of the AIDS pandemic. It is just as depraved to mock those wearing masks to reduce the spread of airborne viruses today. Whenever someone takes any kind of step to protect public health, they should be applauded, not mocked.
