Since Abramovich arrived in 2003 & Abu Dhabi Inc in 2008 Chelsea & Man Cty have won 13 out of the 23 league titles. Their previous combined total was 3. Chelsea in 1955 Man Cty in 1937 & 1968. They had no history of league success in any era. English football was sold 23 years ago.

I see Man City are going to claim at the appeal that the payments came from the Abu Dhabi government rather than the owner. Two problems with this. Why didn’t they introduce this as evidence two year’s ago? Also you can’t introduce new evidence as part of the appeal. It’s a performative statement.

If the 2 incorrect calls had both resulted in goals, Arsenal could be 2-3 points behind City. Both incorrect calls were made so City are level with Arsenal. If correct calls had been made, Arsenal are top by 2 points. 5 point swings in a title race on any given weekend due to gross incompetence.
