#TokenTober Day 2: Human (trying to get caught up) I’ve got Nauctis on the mind. Though I love the ocean, I understand why it can be terrifying to others

A drawing in white ink of an old fashioned diver holding a harpoon behind their back. This is a 1/1 white human creature token for Magic the Gathering. The art is drawn on an art card for the alternate art of Fear of Missing Out from Duskmourn.

Sorry my #tokentober was late today I was very sick. Wanted to do a fractured reality cadet/robot after I heard someone’s theory about using the people in Hexhaven as data storage for the synthetic multiverse. Several false starts on this one but I feel good about it.

A cadet token from the recent Magic the Gathering set but has pieces of a Necron warrior token pasted on top to make it look like the shattered glass treatment of some of the cards from the set.

Photo of all the cards used to make the token on a blue cutting board.

The reason I was experimenting with white border cards was to see if I could do this. The melded side is actually the card fronts and the black bordered ones are on the card backs.

Gisela and Bruna. A pair of angels from Innistrad, with the Eldrazi influence just starting to show. Gisela is feinting left and has a pair of swords working their way into her arms. Bruna is wilding the broken head and haft of her staff, the forearms and hands becoming just short tentacles.

The melded Brisela. An angel horror with two pairs of wings, one feathery and the other fleshy,l. With two pairs of arms, she is splitting her own torso, and the third pair of arms ends in multiple hands. Tentacles spill from her abdomen.

I'm submitting this to the #tokentober society. When I made this, to see how well stickers looked on white bordered cards, robots did not exist in Magic.

A boxy robot with an underwater. It has noodle arms and legs, and the hands are clamps that make the number "3"
