I’m not sure any of the Matrix sequels are exactly “necessary” narratively but man those special effects really rule after 25-ish years. Something about early aughts VFX makes them far superior to most of what’s being done now. The swarm of the sentinel bots in the third one is incredible.

Jess and I aren't really sports people, so every Super Bowl we book a table at a favorite restaurant, then enjoy having it almost entirely to ourselves while getting the best service of the year. Then we like to see a movie in a near empty theater. It's positively heaven.
