There is a healthy balance between venting to help understand your own feelings and not ruminating on the "why". At the end of the day, you will never truly understand the motivation behind what they did but you can eventually understand your own feelings regarding their actions.

I do think im group settings those who act first generally get listened to more. It immediately puts the other person under a microscope with all of their behaviors being analyzed by committee. Suddenly they recall "yeah, she did say that weird thing that one time that lines up with what you said"

Eventually the resentment built up was too much to handle and boiled over. At that point, its easier to just cut off the person than to actually address that resentment. Because they built up resentment, its easier to villainize the other person because it fits their experience of resentment.

I think they made a lot of micro decisions to ignore a problem instead of addressing it. They do this over and over again, building up more and more resentment over time. Each individual decision to avoid conflict was easier than addressing it (in their logic).

The unfortunate reality is that you won't always get closure on falling outs like this because *a lot* of people in this world are cowards who are terrified to make themselves vulnerable enough to actually talk about their problems and instead run away at the slightest sign of potential conflict.

The streaming platform Twitch announced that Amazon is using Twitch users’ personal data to train AI models. Users who do not want Amazon to use their streams, images and other personal data can now opt out from this feature. The Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP), the Dutch data protection authority, is urging people to do so.

Twitch is an online video streaming platform and a subsidiary of Amazon. People mainly use it to live-stream the video games they are playing, whilst being on camera themselves as well. Other people can watch and chat with each other. The AP is concerned about Amazon using user data to train AI models.

If you want Amazon and Twitch to roll their AI program back it'll have to be through pressure campaigns. Instead of using Twitch subscriptions, bits, etc donate directly to the streamer. Most 3rd party donation providers (like Ko-Fi and Streamlabs) allow subscription donations. 2/4
