It’s excellent that the Greens are doing this. Unsurprisingly it’s had almost zero coverage in the media outlets (who also do a shockingly poor job of telling everyone about NHS privatisation). Link to article: leftfootforward.org/2026/10/gree... jujuliagrace.substack.com

Oxford lets OpenAI train its AI models on Bodleian library
University staff voice concerns over reputational risk of partnering with company behind ChatGPT The University of Oxford has allowed the company behind ChatGPT to train its AI models on historical texts from its Bodleian library, as tech companies scour academic institutions for fresh data. The Bodleian material digitised by OpenAI has been used to “populate the OpenAI training set”, according to internal documents. Continue reading...

The 2nd sentence of this snippet of UEFA’s response to FIFA (the whole of which is fantastic) reminds me of Thatcher & everything she sold off - resulting in high utility & rail prices, dirty rivers & water shortages and a huge welfare bill as we pay market rent instead of using houses we owned.

We are hearing nothing about the huge bomb that was dropped on Lebanon, it's disturbing, dystopian. What gives one state the right to annihilate people and their homes like this ? I just don't understand the world we live in now, the evil that continues, the constant greed from those with no soul.

Happy Wednesday.
In case you forgot:
We live on a planet where whales sing songs that travel for miles.
Where trees can recognize their own offspring and protect them underground.
Where dolphins give each other names and where lightning can create glass in the sand.
Where horses can read human emotions.
Where rain has a smell before it even arrives and where the ocean can glow in the dark.
And where stars we see might not even exist anymore.
